Question & Answer
Q: What confirmation name did you choose for your confirmation and why? A: My confirmation name was Miguel because it's the name given to me since Baptism and always it will be.
Q: Who is one of your favorite saints? Why? A: One of my favorite saints is Saint Francis of Assisi because he, like Jesus, transformed the lives of many people, just being different and testifying his faith not only by words, but also by the example of a simple life.
Q: What is your favorite feast day and why? A: I don't have a favorite feast day, but if I had to pick one from the many we have I would probably choose the day of the Resurrection (Easter day), just because it is the most important feast for all Christianity. Is is the day from which everything that I believe, profess and celebrate has it's beginning and meaning.
Q: What is one of your favorite Bible verses? Why? A: "His mother said to the servers, 'Do whatever he tells you.'" Jn 2:5. These words remind me that to follow Jesus and act according to what He said is not an option; it is a command--not only given by the Virgin Mary, but also confirmed by God, the Father, when He said, "Then a cloud came, casting a shadow over them; then from the cloud came a voice, 'This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.'" Mk 9:7
Q: Which sacrament do you most like celebrating as a priest and why? A: The Sacrament of Baptism because it is the beginning of the Christian life, and without it, we cannot receive any other sacrament. Also, this sacrament is the reason by which people call us fathers, because through Baptism, we engender children to the Holy Mother Church.
Q: What is something most parishioners do not know about you that you wouldn't mind sharing with them? A: Probably something that people do not know about me is my love for adrenaline, extreme sports, and activities. So, if one day somebody wants to take me out for scuba or sky diving, to be part of your paint ball team, or to go to any amusement parks and have a partner to ride the roller coasters with, please feel free to contact me to make the invitation!
