White Mass

A special invitation is extended to all
serving in the health care profession to join
us in celebrating our annual White Mass on
Sunday October 18th, at 10 am to honor and
pray for all who serve in the health care
profession. As a time honored tradition of the
Church, the White Mass represents a special
time to invoke the blessing of the Holy Spirit
upon those serving in the health care
profession, and to reflect upon the Church’s
teaching not only upon the healing mission of
those in the health care profession, but also
upon the salvific meaning of human suffering
in light of Christ’s redemptive suffering. Let us
come together, then, to pray as a faith
community for those serving in the health care
profession who strive to bring Christ’s love and
healing to the sick and dying.
